The role is reporting to the Quality Control Specialist and its core responsibility is to perform quality control checks and ensure analytical data is available in a timely manner. The role ensures and follows the Food Safety and quality requirements as per company policies.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure timely and accurate sampling, testing and release based on cross check with specifications or other requirements by executing and approving laboratory, line checks and in-process controls check.
- Perform associated system quality automated transactions as part of the release process.
- Maintain approved control and retention samples and keep all documentation filed correctly and stored.
- Issue and communicate reports regarding non-conformances, preparing report of non-conforming product, IPC incidents, Improvement project etc., and ensure proper communication and escalation. Support product and line validations and trials.
- Keep laboratory equipment clean and in proper working order. Flexibility to work as a QC in various sites or in any other duties (as assigned).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education/ Experience
- MQF 5 in Food Science/Food technology or related field or an equivalent 1+ year experience in QC/QA environment (preferably within food manufacturing operations).
