HR Business Partner


As the Human Resources (HR) Business Partner you will be reporting to the interim Head of Human Resources.  In this role, you will be expected to develop relationships at all levels and deliver comprehensive and effective HR solutions across the group as per the HR road map. Your main duties will include:


  • Contribute to and execute HR Strategies though the liasing with management and employees alike;
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and ensure HR practises are fairly applied;
  • Manage organisational development and design;
  • Salary benchmarking and other duties related to compensation and benefits;
  • Acting as a change agent by critically reviewing, proposing and driving continuous improvement techniques;
  • Support with engagement planning and other related duties;
  • Establish and maintain well-grounded employee relations as well as resolve complex employee relations issues;
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build an employer brand and increase productivity and retention;
  • Workforce reporting and succession planning;


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Psychology or other related areas is a must;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within the manufacturing industry;
  • Awareness of manufacturing related terms;
  • Experience within a unionized environment;
  • Certified with the Maltese Employment Law Course with a solid knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations;
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in MSOffice suite; 



  • Good understanding of English;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Analytical and problem solver;
  • Good at relationship building across all levels;
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment with multiple projects and deadlines;
