Key Accountabilities

Trade Marketing Material Development

	<li>Coordinate and negotiate the development, quality and best price of different trade marketing materials with vendors managing the order quantity and inventory levels internally.</li>
	<li>Take the lead in procuring trade marketing materials on time considering the relevant lead times from different vendors and the required shipment times to market.</li>
	<li>Follow up and coordinate with the different sales teams and warehouse to ensure the on-time shipment and procurement of the relevant materials to all markets.</li>

Support Campaign Deployment and Follow Up

Brand Specialist

Reporting to the Head Of Marketing, the Brand Manager will be engaged in planning, developing and executing of regional marketing programmes that drive both the short- and long-term growth of Foster Clark&rsquo;s brands by positioning them clearly in the minds of consumers and driving brand recall. Quality Control Specialist

Reporting to the Category Product Technologist, the R&amp;D Lab Technician supports product and knowledge development projects in various fields including flavouring, prototyping and sensory with the aim of launching successful consumer relevant products. The R&amp;D Lab Technician also takes care of lab equipment, the lab organisation and carries out physical and chemical analysis as well as organizing the sensorial tasting sessions. The R&amp;D Lab Technician also reports results and prepares documents for the R&amp;D team.

Key Accountabilities

Test management

<ul>
	<li>Responsible for prototyping activities relative to early kitchen trials and flavoring solutions for product development projects, events organization, or innovation workshops, including preparation, executing, tastings.</li>
	<li>Diligently and accurately weighing ingredients and preparing lab trials to support recipe development as specified by the lab trial sheets in a timely and efficient manner.</li>
	<li>Proficiency in carrying out the required analyses according to standard procedures and work instructions such as total acidity, pH measurements, gel strengths analysis etc.</li>
	<li>Responsible for ensuring accurate and correct reporting of results whilst highlighting any deviations or abnormal results efficiently and effectively.</li>
	<li>Support activities relative to sensory including preparation, execution of specific tests or events.</li>
	<li>Preparing samples for other business units and support consumer/competition analysis</li>
</ul>

Lab and kitchen management

<ul>
	<li>Ensure proper functioning of formulation, creative and sensory kitchens, including material supply and maintenance, GLPs implementation and internal databases management.</li>
	<li>Responsible for maintaining the lab in a neat and organized manner by ensuring adequate labeling of samples/ingredients, material stock level maintenance, daily equipment checks.</li>
	<li>Responsible for up-keep of lab and safety equipment in good order and ensure availability.</li>
	<li>Aiding in preparation for tasting sessions</li>
	<li>Participate in routine sensorial trainings sessions whilst effectively be part of the R&amp;D sensory panel.</li>
</ul>

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education / Experience

<ul>
	<li>Diploma in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Engineering, bachelor&rsquo;s degree of advantage</li>
	<li>Minimum 1 year demonstrated work experience executing analytical testing within a food environment, product prototyping, ideally with flavors or other flavoring ingredients and in kitchen / cooking preparations, ideally with novel and trendy ingredients.</li>
	<li>Experience in sensory evaluation and in product innovation will be considered an asset.</li>
</ul>

Technical skills

R&D Lab Technician

Reporting to the TMOD Specialist, the Graduate Associate will assist the department manager with the development and execution of assigned projects. The Graduate Associate role will help you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in different departments to take over in an advances Associate or even a specialist role after having finished the Graduate Programme.

Key Accountabilities

Project Management

<ul>
	<li>Assist to design and develop assigned projects</li>
	<li>Develop action plans to successfully execute all tasks</li>
	<li>Analyse the data and information relevant to the task</li>
	<li>Help with automating existing manual processes</li>
</ul>

Support
